The following general terms and conditions relate to the offering and sale of products on the website www.j-krause.com, which are owned and maintained by:

Shipping and delivery

European Union

Free delivery on all orders above 80 EUR. For purchases below 80 EUR, the shipping costs depend on the delivery country and your total purchase amount. The exact shipping costs will be informed upon checkout. European orders are sent with PostNord, UPS or DHL Delivery time depends on recipient country and shipping method.

Rest of the world

Free delivery on all orders above 135 EUR. For all orders outside Europe, shipping costs depend on the country of shipment and your total purchase amount. The exact shipping costs will be informed upon checkout. Orders are shipped with DHL, UPS or Fedex, and delivery time depends on recipient country and shipping method.

Orders will usually be shipped from our warehouse within 1-3 working days – from the time we receive your order in the system. However, all customers who pay by credit card will be subject to a validation, and J. Krause reserves the right to postpone the delivery of an order if we believe that additional security checks are needed.
You will receive an email with shipping information when your package is on its way. J. Krause cannot be held responsible for delays during delivery. The carrier is responsible.

Please note that, depending on your order and delivery country, you will be liable to pay local taxes and duties receipt of your package for which J. Krause cannot be held responsible for. The refusal to pay such fees will cause a full cancellation of the order. Transportation costs and custom clearance costs associated with a cancellation will be deducted from the total amount refunded to you. Countries where this applies is for example Norway and Switzerland.

In case your order has been delivery to an access point, please make sure to collect your package in time, in order to prevent it to be returned to us. If your package is return to us, freight expenses will be deducted from the amount credited to you.

Guarantee

According to the Danish Sale of Goods Act consumers have a two-year legal warranty. It means that the consumer has the right to complain to you about faulty goods for a period of 2 years. After 2 years, the consumer may no longer make a complaint.

Capturing of payment

Capture is the process by which payments are secured once the payment has been authorised. The amount will be withdrawn from the customer credit and debit card once the order is ready for shipment.

On more expensive items that is not in stock, the client will pay a 50% deposit. This will happen via payment links.
Once the product is ready for shipment a payment link for the last 50% will issued. Shipping will be made once the amount is paid in full.

Cancellation

Unfortunately, J. Krause only has the option to make changes or cancel your order if it has not yet been packed and shipped from our warehouse. If you wish to make changes to your order or cancel it, please contact us as soon as possible by email or phone:

Right of withdrawal

We accept returns within 14 days after receipt of your order. If you wish to return your purchase, please notify us by email within the 14 days. Please send us an email at boutique@j-krause.com
You cannot regret the purchase by refusing to receive the order without notifying us at the same time.
Please note that we do not refund shipping costs if you regret parts of your purchase.

Return

You have the right to return your order within 14 working days of receipt of the goods.

Additionally, this applies to all items on sale. We cannot accept sale items returned after this time. Any sum debited from your card will be credited to your account as soon as the goods are received and checked by j.Krause

J.Krause offers a refund provided that the products are returned unworn, in perfect and salable condition, with all tags and packaging attached. We hold the right to deny return if the product returned does not meet our policy requirements.

The buyer is responsible for return shipping and for any costs involved. When returning items you are strongly recommended to obtain proof of posting. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. J.Krause will cover the return costs for faulty products or products that are damaged in transit to you in which case you should contact boutique@j-krause.Com with photographic evidence. All sales are final after 14 days of purchase.

We only accept packages that are sent directly to the above address. We do not accept parcels sent to parcel shops, drop-offs or collection points.

How to return your goods

Procedure for returning goods:

1. Contact boutique@j-krause.Com to ascertain whether your item is eligible for return.

2. Please ensure the item is unworn with all tags and packaging attached.

3. Please fill out the returns form. If you have lost the returns form please contact: boutique@j-krause.Com

4. Place the items accompanied by the returns form in the original shipping box.

5. Organise return shipment using your local, preferred courier.

6. Please note, you are fully responsible for payment of all return shipping costs.

Personal details registered at j-krause.com are kept for five years before being deleted.

As a customer registered at j-krause.com, you are entitled to object to the registration at any time. You are also entitled to access the information that we have registered about you. Pricing Policy

Prices shown on the Site are in Euros and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate.

All prices and offers remain valid as advertised from time to time. The Euros price of a product displayed on the Site at the time the order is accepted will be honored, except in cases of patent error.

From time to time, prices are subject to change in response to currency exchange rate changes, markdowns and other commercial factors. The price applicable to your order will be the price current at the time your order is accepted.

Customers purchasing from a country served as DDP will incur relevant import duty and tax. These costs are included in the final purchase price. If you are a customer whose credit/debit card is not denominated in Euros, the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction. You will need to pay a deposit, when you order a product- made to order- The company will start the production of your made to order product – once your full deposit has been transferred into J.KRAUSE.COM.

 

Standard Home and Pick Up Point Delivery

We aim to deliver your purchase within 3-5 days after receiving your order confirmation. We deliver Monday-Saturday, except bank holidays.

You will receive confirmation by email.

Payment schedules for bespoke works

For bespoke items, we ask for a deposit – commonly 50% of the total quoted price – to be paid. The deposit acts as a confirmation of your order. Work will not commence until we have received the deposit.

The deposit covers the order of materials and time for initial design and processing.

We will contact you once the work is completed. We require payment of the remaining balance prior to dispatch.

Quotes 

Our quotes consider all aspects of design, fabrication, materials and delivery. They are based on our extensive previous experience in carrying out large works and site-fitting. In most cases, charges are unlikely to deviate from those quoted. However, within reason, additional charges may be payable in the following circumstances:

– if the scope of our work changes during the project
– if new information arises that was unavailable at the time of quoting
– if the project undergoes significant delays not of our making

In all cases, we will do our utmost to make you aware of the cost implications as soon as any new circumstances arise.

Standard delivery times for these made to order are approximately 10-12 weeks

European standard 

Quotation 50% deposit?

On the cart page there is an option available to select for making a purchase by paying only 50% deposit. Once you select this option your page will automatically refresh and you will be able to view the deposit amount payable and the pending balance.

After selecting this option simply follow the normal checkout process.

When do I pay the balance payment on my order?

When your order is INSTOCK and ready for dispatch balance payment will be taken automatically.

How do I make balance payment?

Once your entire order is INSTOCK our system will detect your pending balance and payment will be taken automatically from the card you used at time of making the purchase.

If you wish to pay the balance using an alternative card, please email boutique@j-krause.com to let us know minimum 7 days before expected delivery date of your order.

We will contact you if we are unable to successfully transact your final balance payment.

Will I be notified once balance payment has been taken?

Yes, once you have successfully made the balance payment you will receive an email confirming payment with revised order invoice showing ZERO (0) balance.

In case, the balance is pending before delivery, we will hold the delivery of your order until full payment is cleared.
